hello and congrats on your engagement! thanks so much for your interest in my wedding photography services. my name is carol, and i am all about the romantic, intimate, and honest moments of a wedding day. patiently and carefully i craft each image to reflect my couples' unique love stories and their passion for each other. i am always honored when couples entrust me with the task of documenting such an important event, and i work tirelessly to ensure they get world-class service and fine art images that last well beyond their wedding day.
about me: after having my daughter madeline, my world changed. i love being a full time working mother - i hold a degree in civil engineering have been working in the public sector on important projects for the last decade. i also completed coursework in professional photography at Art Center in Pasadena.

additional hours of coverage by main photographer: $600/hour
additional hours of coverage by assistant photographer: $200-300/hour
wedding collections can be altered and customized for unique wedding needs. weddings typically are booked up to a year in advance and reservations may be limited.

B O O K I N G & P O L I C I E S
HOW TO BOOK
A nonrefundable retainer (that shall be applied toward the total fee for the Services) of 50% is due upon execution of this agreement, at which time Photographer commits to being available to Client on that date (subject to non-payment, reasonable emergencies and force majeure events). Simply email Carol@carollyphoto.com or call 704-258-7752 to complete your booking and contract. Special consideration given to clients in 2020 through end of July due to COVID-19. Please inquire.
FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment of the balance due for the Services shall be made no less than 14 days prior to the Wedding Date. In the event that Client fails to remit payment as specified, Photographer shall have the right to immediately terminate this Agreement with no further obligation to refund money (including the aforementioned retainer), or to attend the Wedding.
COPYRIGHT & MODEL RELEASE
All photographs taken by the Photographer at the Wedding, in whatever form, are copyright protected. Any copying, scanning, reprinting, duplicating, or altering of the photographs taken by Photographer, without Photographer’s express written permission is a violation of federal copyright law. The photographs taken by Photographer are Photographer’s sole property unless purchased by Client. Client agrees that Photographer may use images of Client from any portion of the Work for display, social media, publication, or other promotional uses without payment of additional compensation to Client or Client’s agents. Where a disc of photographs has been provided to the bride and groom as part of their wedding collection, these photographs may be printed, and displayed online, for personal but not commercial use. Permission is given the Client to unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use or reproduce the photographs for which the Client pays, but shall not sell the photographs or pass them as the Client’s own work.
DELIVERY DATE
Photographer makes every effort to deliver fully edited images between 6-8 weeks from the date of the Wedding. However, depending on schedule and the season, images can take up to 10 weeks to be delivered. Album orders typically take 8-10 weeks to complete.
E N G A G E M E N T S E S S I O N S
although the engagement period is a relatively short period of time, i believe it’s something to be cherished forever. when my husband and i got engaged, we spent a lot of time exploring all kinds of questions and challenges we may face as a married couple. we took that time to build a stronger foundation in our relationship. i’m glad we have photos from our engagement session to look back on, as it always reminds me of the anticipation we felt during that brief yet exciting period in our lives.
choose up to two locations relatively close together, and two outfits that represent your style. however, to maximize your time i highly suggest sticking with to one place. engagement sessions can last up to 1.5 hours. locations (within Los Angeles County) can be determined by client or Carol can offer suggestions. all engagement sessions come with 45 images delivered digitally.
